Job Overview
The Carbon Offset Verification Senior Program Manager is responsible for the successful operation of the GHG program related to forestry and land use projects and programs.
Areas of responsibility include program operations, financial management, program quality, business development, and staff management. The Program Manager is also expected to be a credentialed practitioner who engages in a sufficient number of audits to maintain a strong working knowledge of our auditing services as well as to contribute to the profitability of the program. The Program Manager will collaborate with their colleagues within the division, including leadership, technical teams, marketing and sales. Additionally, the Program Manager is responsible for representing SCS through relevant industry meetings, tradeshows and/or standard development committees, as needed.
SCS’ Greenhouse Gas Verification Program has been verifying carbon offsets since 2008 and to date has verified over 375 million tonnes of CO2e, providing GHG verification services to a wide array of industries including manufacturing, transportation, municipalities, and non-profit organizations. The GHG Verification Program draws upon SCS’s established expertise to serve the global carbon market. SCS has been voted Best Verification Company several times. Buyers of SCS-verified offsets include several Fortune 100 companies and SCS is a recognized thought leader in the carbon and climate change communities.

At this time, SCS Global Services is recruiting all open roles to be remote; allowing our employees the ability to work flexibly and allowing SCS as a company to diversify the experience and perspectives of our growing workforce. This role will be based out of your home office.
Estimated Annual Salary
$110,000 to $150,000
