Global Human Resources Specialist

Division: General and Admin

Job Overview
The Global HR Specialist will provide the day-to-day direction in all aspects of international Human Resources and will play a key role in assisting with implementing HR policies, programs, and initiatives that support the organization's global growth and expansions plans while ensuring alignment with local laws and regulations. The HR Global HR Specialist must have a deep understanding of international HR practices, compliance requirements, and cultural sensitivities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with HR leadership to assist with developing and standardizing global HR policies and procedures that comply with local regulations while aligning with corporate objectives and values
  • Ensure consistency and equity in HR practices across different regions and countries
  • Provide guidance and support to HR teams and stakeholders to ensure compliance with local employment laws and regulation, including to employment contracts, termination procedures, and immigration requirements
  • Maintain involvement with new foreign entities for an extended period to assist with developing policies, processes and procedures and handle employee relations issues
  • Partner with compensation and benefits teams to manage the design and implementation of competitive global compensation and benefits programs to take into account local market practices and cost consideration
  • Ensure equity and consistency in compensation and benefits offering across different regions and countries
  • Provide best practice guidance and support to HR teams and managers on employee relations issues and conflict resolutions across diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Manage international mobility programs, including expatriate assignments, international transfers, and relocation support
  • Coordinate with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless employee experiences and compliance with immigration and tax requirements
  • Utilize HRIS, data analytics/benchmarking tools to track and analyze HR metrics, trends, and insights across global regions
  • Generate reports and provide data-driven recommendations to inform strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition team to identify global talent pools and implement effective sourcing strategies
  • Lead or contribute to global HR projects and initiatives, such as system implementations, policy rollouts, and organizational change efforts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and adoption

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field OR 3+ years of equivalent relevant work experience and
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in global human resources leadership roles, with a focus on international HR strategy development, talent management, and compliance
  • Proficiency with MS Suite(Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Highly detail oriented and organized
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong initiative and ability to work independently
  • In-depth knowledge of international labor laws, regulations, and cultural nuances across different countries

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of ADP Workforce Now, Deel, or of any other HRIS system Proficiency intermediate
  • Familiarity with environmental conservation and sustainability issues
  • GPHR - Global Professional in Human Resources

Working Remotely
SCS is recruiting all open roles to be remote; allowing our employees the ability to work flexibly and allowing SCS as a company to diversify the experience and perspectives of our growing workforce. This is a home-office based role and may include travel with local, domestic, and/or international trips. Details will be clarified during the recruitment process.

Estimated Annual Salary
$61,102.08 - $83,017.87 - Exempt
