Sales Coordinator, EBC

Job Overview
The Sales Coordinator, EBC is an important member of the Energy, Biomaterials, and Circularity (EBC) division sales team. This position is responsible for supporting divisional sales, inbound and outbound sales coordination, sales administration, and client service activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Inbound Sales Coordination

  • Manage inbound sales inquiries including qualifying leads
  • Respond to prospects, general inquiries, and incoming calls
  • Manage sales lead queues, assigning leads to the appropriate salesperson
  • Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems including inputting data, updating information, and ensuring that files are organized and easily accessible

Outbound Sales Coordination

  • Help grow the EBC division sales revenue
  • Compile prospect lists and profiles
  • Collaborate with Marketing Team on implementing sales campaigns
  • Support trade show preparation and follow up, including research and outreach to attendees
  • Research prospective clients and contact information
  • Manage new leads following events, webinars, and other sales activities
  • Support corporate sales efforts and initiatives

Sales Administration

  • Establish and maintain records for leads and opportunities in Salesforce CRM
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy of recorded sales
  • Review and report affiliate sales
  • Create and send work orders, following up as needed
  • Complete post-sale workflow: send agreements, communicate and track additional documents, and transition completed sale to Operations
  • Use Salesforce to collect data for sales forecasts and other analytical reports

Long-Term Development

  • Develop knowledge of sustainability certification schemes offered at SCS Global Services
  • Assist in generation of proposals, including application review, scope and budget projects, draft proposals, and follow up on outstanding proposals
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative solutions to streamline sales activities and enhance overall team performance

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Sustainable Business, or Environmental Science or
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience or
  • 2+ years of customer service or account support experience
  • Fluent in English and Spanish in both verbal and written communication
  • Initiative, good judgment, and ability to work independently under pressure in a changing environment
  • Proficient with business software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Salesforce
  • Attention to detail and strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Proven ability to complete tasks in a timely, efficient, and effective manner
  • Strong customer service and teamwork orientation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Portuguese language skills
  • Understanding of sustainability auditing and regulatory compliance
  • Experience in Chain of Custody programs, supply chain, and industrial resource management

Working Remotely
At this time, SCS Global Services is recruiting all open roles to be remote; allowing our employees the ability to work flexibly and allowing SCS as a company to diversify the experience and perspectives of our growing workforce. This role will be based out of your home office.
