Senior Vice President, SCS Consulting

Division: SCS Consulting Services
Position Type: Full-Time Regular

Company Overview
SCS Consulting offers a range of solutions aimed to help corporations track, manage and improve the sustainability performance of facilities, supply chains, and products. We establish robust metrics through environmental impact analyses and carbon footprints, set ambitious goals and sustainability strategies, and report out progress to stakeholders and investors. Our team brings more than three decades of experience in sustainability and an unwavering commitment to scientific rigor, credibility, and transparency. SCS Consulting Services works to help implement transformative sustainability solutions that drive meaningful change within organizations.

Job Overview
The SCS Group of Companies has been focused on advancing environmental, social, and economic sustainability since its founding in 1984. SCS' vision is a sustainable future that safeguards our environment and our climate, respects and supports the dignity, health, and wellbeing of workers and communities, and raises the standard of living for all.

For 40 years, SCS Global Services has operated as a leader in sustainability through auditing, certification, and verification business across 120 programs. SCS Global has deep experience in assurance systems, having served in the role of author, technical and assurance expert stakeholder, and key scheme partner in the development and roll-out of major certification systems, including FSC, MSC, Fair Trade USA, Equitable Food Initiative, Starbuck's CAFÉ Practices Program, environmental claims such as recycled content, ISO 14000 and lifecycle assessment and GHG inventory assessments, amongst others.

While SCS Global Services represents the majority of the SCS organization's service footprint, the expansion of sustainability market needs over time necessitated the legal separation of discreet consulting and advisory services from the core auditing and verification functions that are covered by SCS Global Services. In 2021, SCS Consulting Services was launched to provide sustainability advisory services.

The Senior Vice President of SCS Consulting will lead the strategic direction and operational execution of the company's mission to promote sustainable practices across industries. The SVP will oversee the development of sustainability strategies, ensuring SCS Consulting provides cutting-edge, practical solutions for clients aiming to reduce their environmental impact, increase efficiency, and meet regulatory requirements. This role involves managing key client relationships, guiding a team of sustainability experts, and implementing the commercial development strategy to drive business growth. The SVP will also be responsible for shaping SCS Consulting's brand and market positioning, identifying and implementing new business areas in sustainability advisory services, and maintaining a culture of excellence, integrity, and collaboration within the organization. The position will report to the CEO of SCS Global Services.
